Regina Ann Hook, 90, of Honesdale, died on Friday, October 30, 2020 at Wayne Memorial Hospital.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Jerome Hook on July 9, 2012.

Born on November 7, 1929 in Carbondale, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Helen (Olsewski) Lopatofsky.

Regina was a talented seamstress who worked at Laura Jane Fashions and Katz Underwear, where she met her husband Robert, the love of her life.  The couple married on November 4, 1950.

She was a member of St. John the Evangelist Parish in Honesdale, the Altar & Rosary Society, and in her younger years attended St. Mary’s Church in Waymart. She loved dancing, sports, sewing and baking as well as gardening with her husband and sharing vegetables with the neighbors. Holidays were so special to her. She always went above and beyond to give her family a warm and inviting home to come back to with delicious food, baked goods, and decorations.

Surviving are her children Dennis Hook and wife Heling of Hawley, Mary Bunting and partner Ivan Wilcox of Cherry Ridge and Michael Hook of Honesdale; her sister Dorothy Johannes of Cherry Ridge; her grandchildren Adam, Nicholas and Amanda Hook, Robert Bunting and wife Amy and Brian Bunting and wife Kim; step-granddaughter Kaylee Roy; great grandchildren Bryn and Kira Bunting; as well as several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her infant daughter Marie Jean; brothers Paul, Albert and Francis Lopatofsky; her sister Sarah (Sally) Cobb Rodenburg; son-in-law Robert Bunting; step-granddaughter Ashly Roy.

She personally thanks Dr. Gutherz and his staff for keeping her well for so many years, as well as Father Langan and the members of the parish for their visits and prayers.
