Obituaries » Ralston W. Mansfield Share your Memorial with Family & Friends Raltson William Mansfield, 76, of Honesdale and formerly of Lodi, NJ, died on Friday, July 14, 2023 at Wayne Memorial Hospital. He is survived by his wife of 28 years, the former Virginia Anne Tredy. Born on October 28, 1946 in Passaic, NJ, he was the son of the late Ralston E. and Doris (Sauter) Mansfield. He was a US Air Force veteran who served during the Vietnam War. He later worked as a machine mechanic for Westinghouse and later Okonite in Paterson, NJ. Ralston enjoyed riding his motorcycles and tinkering on old automobiles. He enjoyed living in NEPA and watching the wildlife. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his son, Michael Mansfield and wife Carrie of Manahawkin, NJ; his brother, Richard Mansfield and wife Carol of Hampton, VA; his sisters, Karen Grohsman and husband Frank of Calabash, NC and Patti Grohsman of Conway, NC; his granddaughter who he loved dearly, Gwen Mansfield; brother-in-law, Vincent Tredy; several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held on Friday, Sept. 1, 2023 at 4 pm with military honors to follow.
