This world lost an incredible man.

Phillip “Chip” Lucenti, 80, of Honesdale, Pa, formerly of Paterson, NJ, passed away at his home on Friday September 28, 2018. Born at St. Joseph’s in Paterson, NJ, son of the late Agostino and Brassa Lucenti and siblings Mary Salinas, Joseph Lucenti and his wife Anita, Linda Lamping and her husband Robert. A graduate of Eastside High school, he retired from the United States Postal Service. A veteran of the United States Air Force, he spent his time overseas in the Philippians.
Phillip had a genuine love for his family and friends and would spend his free time making memories with his children and grandchildren. The Jersey Shore has great significance to him and his family, spending countless summers together. His impressive eclectic collection of music is a family treasure. He was an avid sports fan often found rooting for his Giants and Yankees, as well as his grandchildren at their sporting events. His demeanor was always light and positive, he was a quick witted and would always leave those around him with a smile.
He is survived by his loving companion Enza Squatrito, Honesdale, PA, his children Angela Rodriguez and her husband Taro; Phillip Lucenti and his spouse William, William Lucenti and his wife Michelle, and Maria Klima and her husband Mike. Grandchildren Kristan Kraus, Grace and Stewart Lucenti, Matt and Daniel Lucenti, and Antonio Lucenti and Nicholas Klima; and a great grandson Gabriel Kraus. Also to include Enza’s family Romina Squatrito, Anthony Squatrito, Adriana Duda and her husband Kevin, Elena Squatrito, and grandchildren Alex and John Squatrito and their mother Mary Schwartz and her husband Tom and plentiful nieces and nephews who loved him like a father.
He was preceded in death by his ex-wife and the mother of his children Patricia Ann Lucenti and brother-in-law Raymond Salinas.
Friends may call this Wednesday 2pm – 4pm and 7pm – 9pm at Hessling Funeral Home, Inc., 428 Main St. Honesdale, PA. A funeral mass will be offered Thursday morning at 10 am at St. Mary Magdalen, Church Street in Honesdale.
