Pearl T. (Malinski) Todd, 96, of Lake Como, died on Wednesday, January 23, 2019 at Wayne Woodlands Manor in Waymart. She was preceded in death by her husband Warren “Sparky” Todd on November 18, 2011. The couple married on June 7, 1947.

Born on March 2, 1922 in Scranton, she was the daughter of the late Boleslaw Malinski and Anthonina (Piotrowska) Malinski.

A housewife and mother, Pearl worked in several factories over the years and also was a waitress at the Orson Inn. She was a member of St. Julianna’s Catholic Church in Rock Lake and looked forward to their annual picnic to make her baked goods.

Pearl was a member of the Occupied Japan Club, collecting Occupied Japan antiques and toys. She was also a member of the Northern Wayne Senior Citizens Club. She enjoyed sewing, bird watching and taking walks on Wallerville Road.

Surviving is her daughter Roberta Sidle and husband Jeffrey of Hawley; her son-in-law Ronald Baldwin of Boca Raton, FL; her brother John Malinksi of Scranton; her grandchildren Valerie Fox and husband Christopher of Beach Lake and John Corcoran and wife Carol of Washingtonville, NY; a great granddaughter Brittney; great great grandsons Daniel and Joseph; several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her daughter Barbara Irene Todd Baldwin; sisters Celia and Jenny; brothers Frank, Bob, Stanley and Joseph.

Private funeral services will be held at the convenience of her family with interment in Lake Como Cemetery. Arrangements by Hessling Funeral Home, Inc., 428 Main St. Honesdale.
