Paul B. Gregorski, 61 of Lake Ariel, PA, died unexpectedly in his residence on Thursday, June 12, 2014. He is survived by his wife of 36 years, the former Carolyn Jones. The couple married on June 18, 1977. Born in Scranton, PA, he was the son of Blanch Van Sickle-Gregorski of Lake Ariel, PA and the late, Albert Peter Gregorski. He was a veteran of the US Army serving with Co. A 501st Infantry and 101st Airborne Division. Paul was a member of the Masonic Lodge #330 in Hamlin, PA, as well as, a member of the American Legion Post #579 in Moscow, PA. He retired on July 3, 2013 from Tobyhanna Army Depot where he worked as a leader in sheet metal for 32 years. Paul enjoyed collecting baseball cards and coins. He was a fan of Nascar, but especially, of the late Dale Earnhardt, Sr. He most loved his grandsons, Donovon and Troy and especially loved taking them on tractor rides. In addition to his wife and mother he is survived by his son, Paul B. Gregorski II and wife, Jessica, Lake Ariel, PA; Four sisters, Susan Chapman and husband, Douglas, Lake Ariel, PA; Kathy Hettes and Diane Van Levvin, of Lake Ariel, PA; Mary Owens and husband, Duane, Midlothian,VA; Four brothers, Charles Gregorski and wife, Patricia, Moscow, PA;Albert Gregorski of Moscow, PA; John Gregorski and wife, Ann, Hamlin, PA; Robert Gregorski and wife, Tina, Lake Ariel, PA; and grandsons, Donovon Mason and Troy Declan Gregorski; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by sister in law Anna Gregorski and bothers in law Gordon Hette and Brian Van Levvin. Services will be held at the Hessling Funeral Home, Inc., 428 Main Street, Honesdale, PA 18431 on Tuesday, June 17, 2014 at 10:00am by his brother-in-law Duane Owens with entombment following at Fairview Memorial Park, Elmhurst, PA. Friends may visit Monday, June 16, 2014 from 5:00 pm – 8:00 pm at the Hessling Funeral Home, Inc. Besides flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Legion Post #579, 111 Church Street, Moscow, PA 18444.
