Patricia M. Molessa, 83, of Honesdale, died on Tuesday, March 9, 2021 at Ellen Memorial Health Care Center in Honesdale. She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Eugene J. Molessa. The couple married on February 27, 1970.

Born on December 7, 1937 in Syracuse, NY, she was the daughter of the late Earl and Catherine (Mueller) Boyle. She received a bachelor’s degree from St. Bonaventure University and later taught Latin. Following her retirement from teaching, she and her husband co-founded Quality Printing and Copying in Honesdale.

She was a former member of St. John’s Choir in Honesdale and a member of Queen of Peace Parish in Hawley.

Pat was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who enjoyed spending time with her family.

Also surviving is her son Thomas Molessa of East Stroudsburg; her daughter Karen Molessa of Orlando, FL; sisters Sally Hutt of Rochester, NY and Mary Schramm of Syracuse, NY; grandchildren Taiyo and Seiji Molessa.

She was preceded in death by her brothers Earl and Ronald Boyle.

A private Funeral Mass will be held at the convenience of her family. Arrangements by Hessling Funeral Home, Inc., 428 Main St. Honesdale.
