Patricia A. Seipp, 80, of Honesdale, died on Monday, September 13, 2021 at Geisinger Wyoming Valley Hospital after a brief illness.

Born on March 23, 1941 in Honesdale, she was the daughter of the late Paul G. and Gertrude (Compton) Thompson. She was a graduate of Honesdale High School, class of 1959. Pat began working at GLF, the current Agway and later was the secretary at Serendipity Preschool. She retired from the Honesdale Borough in 2010 where she was the secretary for 28 years.

Pat was a faithful and active member of Central United Methodist Church in Honesdale. There she participated in the Warm Up America program making blankets for the needy. Always looking to help others, she used her skills of sewing and crocheting to make blankets for Project Linus, which helped many young kids keep warm.
She was a former member of the Eastern Star and the Business and Professional Women of Wayne County.

A kind and caring person, Pat enjoyed spending time with her friends and checking in on them with a phone call.

Surviving are her sons, Bob Seipp and Kevin Seipp and wife Tammy all of Honesdale; step-grandchildren, Sean Durando and companion, BrieAnn Mayers and Michael Durando and companion Taylor Borrero; several cousins.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, September 17th at 11 am in the Wesley Room of Central United Methodist Church in Honesdale. Interment will follow in Indian Orchard Cemetery, Honesdale. Friends may visit on Thursday, 2 to 4 and 5 to 7 in the Wesley Room. Arrangements by Hessling Funeral Home, Inc., 428 Main St. Honesdale.
