Mary Carol Menotti, 57, of Honesdale, died on Saturday, March 11, 2017 at Forest City Nursing Home. She is survived by her fiancée Mark E. Hook of Honesdale.

Born on November 29, 1959 in Honesdale, she was the daughter of the late William and Audrey Rimlinger Brundage. She was a graduate of Honesdale High School and later owned and operated her own cleaning business.

She was a member of St. John the Evangelist Parish in Honesdale. Mary was also a member of the American Syringomyelia & Chiari Alliance Project and its Spinal Support Group. A spinal disease she battled for 14 years. She has been a friend of Bill W. for 17 years.

Mary loved her dog Bandit and loved watching the birds in her yard.

Also surviving are her sons, Adore and wife Danielle of Equinunk, Nicholas of Honesdale and Dustin and Jessica of Equinunk; her sisters Sharyn Wertman and husband Jack of Honesdale and Patricia Roe of Lakeville; her uncle Henry Rimlinger of White Mills; grandchildren Blake, Emma, Adore R. and Ryder; many nieces and nephews. Also surviving is her dog Bandit and special friend Lauren Hazen.

She was preceded in death by her brothers Robert and Lawrence Brundage.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, March 17th at St. Mary Magdalen Church, Honesdale at 10 am. Interment will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery. Friends may visit Hessling Funeral Home, Inc., 428 Main St. Honesdale on Thursday, 4 to 7.
