Marguerite Manganello, 94, of Honesdale, died on Thursday, June 28, 2018 at her home. She was preceded in death by her husband, Millard James Manganello on February 13, 2005. The couple married on September 24, 1949.

Born on August 18, 1923 in Rock Lake, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Margaret O’Brien Coffey. She was a graduate of Rock Lake High School. For many years she worked at Imperial Dry Cleaners in Honesdale until her retirement.

Marguerite was well known for her excellent needlework and was a great seamstress. She enjoyed attending Saturday Mass at St. Mary’s followed by dinner with her family. She was proud of her Irish heritage and loved her family.

A faithful member of St. John the Evangelist Parish in Honesdale, she was also a member of it’s Altar and Rosary Society.

Surviving is her daughter Shirley Garrick and husband George of Prompton; her sons Edward Manganello and wife Jeanne of Honesdale and James Manganello of Honesdale; her sister Christina Enslin of Honesdale; her grandson Robert Manganello of Waymart.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, June 30th at St. Mary Magdalen Church, Honesdale at 10 am. Interment will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery. Friends may visit Hessling Funeral Home, Inc., 428 Main St. Honesdale on Friday, 4 to 7.
