Obituaries » Louis S. Radell Share your Memorial with Family & Friends Louis Samuel Radell, 83, of Honesdale, died on Monday, July 26, 2021 at Geisinger CMC in Scranton. He is survived by his wife of 24 years, the former Mary Lou Catalano. The couple married on July 21, 1997. Born in Philadelphia, PA, he was the son of the late Thomas and Minnie (Schwalm) Radell. He was a US Navy veteran serving during the Vietnam War. Before retiring, Lou worked for General Chemical in Delaware. Following his retirement, he and his wife moved to Honesdale to be closer to family. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his step-daughter Deborah Winnberg and her husband Thomas of Prompton; his grandchildren Grant and Hope. Private services will be held at the convenience of his family. Arrangements by Hessling Funeral Home, Inc., 428 Main St. Honesdale.
