Kenneth A. Kellam, 79, of Honesdale, died on Monday, October 1, 2018 at Allied Services Hospice Center in Scranton.  He is survived by his wife of 46 years, the former Patricia C. Gill.  The couple married on April 8, 1972.

Born on January 20, 1939 at the family home in Equinunk, he was the son of the late Albert and Freida Mitchel Kellam.  He was a graduate of Hancock High School, class of 1957.  Kenneth began working on the family dairy farm and later retired from Narrowsburg Feed and Grain.

Ken appreciated the simple things in life, spending time outdoors watching the wildlife and hunting.  His greatest joy was spending time with his family.

In addition to his wife, Ken is survived by his daughters Stephanie Kutteroff of Allentown and Jeanette Kellam of Moscow; his brothers Chester Kellam and wife Linda of Honesdale and James Kellam and wife Mildred of Lookout; his sister Joan Stanton and husband Robert of Deposit, NY; sister-in-law Kathryn Kellam of Starlight; his grandchildren Aaron, Avery and Caleb Kutteroff; many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his brothers Walter, Floyd, Leslie and Irvin Kellam and his sister Norma Galloway.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, October 5th at Hessling Funeral Home, Inc., 428 Main St. Honesdale at 10 am by Pastor William Rushik.  Friends may visit on Thursday, 4 to 7.  As per Ken’s request, cremation will follow.
