Gruner Burial Date February 28, 2017 Place of Service Saint John the Evangelist Share your Memorial with Family & Friends Keith Michael Gruner, 31, formerly of Tannersville, PA, died on June 24, 2016 in Philadelphia. Born on February 22, 1985 in Queens, NY, he is the son of Michael and Janice Kuczmarski Gruner of Honesdale. Keith was a graduate of Pocono Mountain East High School and later attended Colorado Mountain College. He lived most of his life in Monroe County. He was very talented and worked as a freelance artist making jewelry. Along with his jewelry, Keith enjoyed drawing and sketching. Also surviving is his sister Michelle Ballard and husband Douglas of Drexel Hill, PA; his paternal grandmother Lucille Gruner of Queens, NY; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, February 28th at St. John the Evangelist Church, 150 Terrace St. Honesdale, PA at 11am. Interment will follow in St. Catherine’s Cemetery, Moscow, PA. His family will receive friends on Tuesday in Holy Family Hall of St. John’s Church, 9:30 to 10:30. Arrangements by Hessling Funeral Home, Inc., 428 Main St. Honesdale.
