She was born to the late Walter and Katherine Smith Knehr on April 24, 1927.  Katherine,

for years to come.

“Katie” served as a hostess at Cove Haven Resort in
Wallenpaupack for more than 30 years and had a loyal following of guests
there.  She was an active member of St. John the Evangelist Parish in Honesdale and the Catholic Daughters of the Americas, Court St. Martin.  A faithful Catholic, she prayed the Rosary daily.

Surviving and left to honor Katie and remember her love is her adoring sister, Florence Knehr Krempasky, her children:  June Glosenger Utegg and her husband, Harry, of Honesdale,
Ronald Glosenger and Anne of Kentucky, Kathleen Glosenger of North Carolina, Sandra
Glosenger Briggman and her husband, David, of North Carolina, Randall
Glosenger and his wife, Pamela of Lakeville, Annmarie Glosenger and Jeff of North
Carolina, Bruce Glosenger of Hamlin, Kevin Glosenger and Carrie of Forest City, and 22
grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren (with one more due any day).

She was preceded in death by her oldest son Glen Glosenger.
