Obituaries » John R. Beemer Share your Memorial with Family & Friends John R. “Jack” Beemer, 90, of Honesdale, died on Tuesday, March 17, 2026 at his home. He was preceded in death by his wife, the former, Margarita E. Ferrarese on June 7, 2009. The couple married on September 17, 1971. Born in Honesdale on December 28, 1935, he was the son of the late Frederick and Margaret (Robinson) Beemer. Jack’s dedication to hard work was evident in his many years as a factory worker, followed by his time in construction and painting. He took pride in his work within the manufacturing industry. His love for the outdoors was reflected in his passion for hunting, where he found tranquility and joy in nature’s embrace. In his later years, Jack enjoyed a peaceful retirement with his beloved wife, savoring the beauty of Honesdale, where they built a happy and quiet life together. Jack is survived by several nieces and nephews and close friends. Following cremation, a graveside service will be held at St. John’s Cemetery, Honesdale on Thursday, April 9th at 11 am.
