JoAnn Jensen, 66, of Honesdale, PA, passed away unexpectedly Sunday, Mar. 13, 2022, at home. She was born September 8,1955, in Danbury, CT, a daughter of the late Frederick Henry and Eileen Ann (Dyer) Jensen of Sandy Hook, CT.  In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her brother, Robert W. Jensen.  She is survived by her brother Frederick Jr., wife Gail Jensen, of Cape Cod, MA and sister Patricia, husband Robert Brink of Jacksonville, FL.

JoAnn loved her animals and took in many over the years to care for them. She also enjoyed catching up with friends and family on the phone and playing games online. Most of all, JoAnn loved spending time with her daughter, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. A loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend, she was known to many for her kind heart. She had many great friends she considered family.

Joann was a loving Mother to her children, Debi (Miller) Firmstone and husband, Jason, of Honesdale, PA, and Cathi (Miller) Rake and husband Brett of Honesdale, PA; grandmother to Caitlin and Brett Firmstone of Honesdale, PA, Jonathan Miller and fiancé Jennifer Duley of Damascus, PA, Jodi Calvert and fiancé, Daniel Fenkner of Equinunk, PA; and attentive great-grandmother to Austin, Skylar, Oliver, Elianna, Adalyn, Isabella, Shannon, Logan, Elizabeth, Adrianna, Cameron, and Tyler.  Several Cousins, Nieces and Nephews.

A celebration of life will take place in the future, carrying on what she truly enjoyed the most.
