Obituaries » Jerome Lupyak Share your Memorial with Family & Friends Jerome “Jerry” Stephen Lupyak, 73, of Lake Arial died Sunday, June 21, 2026 at Hospice of the Sacred Heart, Dunmore. He was preceded in death by his wife Diane (White) Lupyak in 2001. Born September 17, 1952 in Honesdale he was a son the of the late Stephen J. Lupyak, Jr and Wanda (Cottell) Lupyak. Jerry worked in construction and was employed as a Heavy Equipment Operator as well as a foreman. He had worked at Pickarski Construction as well as Leeward Construction. He was a member of Canaan Bible Chapel. Jerry loved being outdoors, especially when he was hunting or fishing. He also cherished spending time with his grandchildren and teaching his grandson, Stephen, the art of fishing. He was an avid reader and a baseball fan. Surviving are a son Brendan Lupyak and his wife Callie, Hamlin; two grandchildren, Stephen and Madeline Lupyak; and two sisters Nancy Burkett and Susan Lewis; as well as nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by two infant children, Joshua Lupyak and an infant girl as well as a brother Stephen J. Lupyak III. A Visitation will be held on Friday, July 10, 2026 beginning at 4:30 PM at Canaan Bible Chapel, 30 Hemlock Rd., Lake Ariel, PA 18436 with a Celebration of life beginning at 5:00 PM. A time of fellowship will follow the service. Private interment will be in Bethany Cemetery, Bethany, Pa.
