Jeffrey A. Lintner of Honesdale, PA, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 14, 2021.

Born in Honesdale on October 2, 1959, Jeff was the son of the late Augustus “Gus” and Dorothy C. Lintner. He was a graduate of Honesdale High School, Class of 1977. Jeff worked at several local businesses in his younger years from the former Bunting’s and Stendor’s Markets, to the former Agway stores in Pleasant Mount and Waymart. His greatest accomplishment was being able to serve the community with his own former business, Pleasant Mount Hardware.
Jeff enjoyed spending time with family, friends, and all of his customers along the way. Whether it was watching Penn State or the NY Giants, playing cards, or shooting the breeze, Jeff was always there with his infamous laugh. Jeff cared so much for his loved ones and just as much for all the fur-babies of his own and those around him.
Jeff will be sorely missed by his friends and especially his sister, Susan Lintner of Honesdale.
A graveside service for family and friends will be held at Darling Cemetery, Cherry Ridge Township, Honesdale, PA (off the Owego Turnpike). GPS coordinates: 41.5386925,-75.2928467) on Thursday, April 22, 2021 at 2:00 p.m.
Arrangements by Hessling Funeral Home, 428 Main Street, Honesdale, PA 18431.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Jeff’s honor to Allied Services Foundation-Hospice Division, 100 Abington Executive Park, Clarks Summit, PA 18411.
