Obituaries » Jean Marie Kelch Funeral Home Hessling Funeral Home Share your Memorial with Family & Friends Jean Marie Kelch, 87, of Honesdale, died on Monday, May 27, 2024 at her home. She is survived by her husband of 25 years, Gene A. Kelch. The couple married on December 19, 1998. Born on December 30, 1936 in Jessup, she was the daughter of the late William and Mary (Makala) Kanuik. Over the years, Jean had several jobs and was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed arts and crafts and always loved polkas. She will be remembered as a loving person who would do anything to help someone. Also surviving is her daughter, Jo Ann Butler of Honesdale; her step-son, Gene Kelch of Lebanon, ME; her son, Kenny Bannon of DE; grandchildren, Eric Bannon, Michelle Miller, Marissa Miller, Lindsey Miller, Nicole Butler and Christopher Bannon; 5 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Donna Miller and granddaughter Jessica Bannon. As per her request, there will be no public services.
