Obituaries » Jean A. Peck (Crockenberg) Share your Memorial with Family & Friends Jean Ann Peck, 86, of Honesdale, died on Tuesday, August 31, 2021 at Wayne Memorial Hospital. She is survived by her husband, Francis L. Peck. Born on April 21, 1935 in Honesdale, she was the daughter of the late Paul and Marie (Bauer) Crockenberg. She was a graduate of Honesdale Catholic High School, class of 1953. Well known for her ability to sew, Jean began her career at Katz’s before starting her own sewing business. She always enjoyed her interactions with her customers. She was known for her bright morning disposition, waking up to enjoy life right up until her last day. Her grandchildren who she loved and was very proud of, will miss her delicious blueberry pound cake. In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children, Kate Scheer of Hawley, Bob Bates and wife Kay and Mike Bates all of Honesdale; 9 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. As per her request, following cremation, a private memorial service will be held at the convenience of her family.
