James Francis McGinley, 83, of Milanville, Pennsylvania, passed away on Thursday, January 21, 2021, due to complications of COVID-19. Born in 1937 in Jersey City, NJ to James and Ann (McKenna) McGinley. He was the beloved father of his four children with his former wife of 25 years Diane McGinley. He was world known traditionalist realist artist, dedicated his life to his art, and is a renowned 20th century artist. He grew up in Nutley, NJ and taught at the Newark School of Fine and Industrial Arts, his alma mater. To his family and those who loved him, his artistic abilities were unparalleled.

He is survived by his four children, Michael (Lisa), Kellyeanne Norrod (Curt), Kathleen Cartwright (David), and James (Jennifer) His five grandchildren, two great-grandchildren; siblings Kathleen McCormack (Gene, deceased), Brian McGinley, and Diane (Stanley) both deceased; 22 nieces and 13 nephews; Nicholas Conklin, his sidekick and dear friend, and Jacqueline Meloni, his partner of 16 years.

A retrospective of his life and art will be held at a later date.
