Dear Matthew, You have to know that you were the light of your father's life and he was so very proud of the man you have become. He loved you with all of his heart and I know you love him, too. You had a beautiful relationship! His love will be with you forever as it has shaped the kind, smart, warm, funny person you are now. I know you will miss him but someday the pain will be replaced with the memories of your time together. God bless you!

Uncle Jim was a kindhearted and gentle person who wasn't afraid to wear his heart on his sleeve. He showed love and good humor to everyone he could and always exemplified strength and patience through his role as a husband, father, grandfather, uncle, and friend to all. He showed us all how to have a better sense of humor about life, and never took himself too seriously. He will be sorely missed by our entire family.

Jim will be very missed by all of us. He will always be remembered for his love of his children and grandchildren. It was wonderful to see how happy he was in his new home . I will surely miss his ability to cut the ham at Christmas into perfect slices! Rest in peace Jim and watch over and bless your beautiful family
