For the past 7 months we have been blessed to come to know and love Hilda. She was a very special and delightful lady who we bonded with so easily and enjoyed her company and visits immensely! While visiting with my Mother in Wayne Woodland Manor, we were introduced to Hilda since they are both members of the same church. Hearing her stories about her young life, her travels and her time here in Lakeville were very entertaining and knowledgeable. But mostly hearing her talk about her love for her family and how proud she was of them was most enjoyable. She touched our hearts dearly, and we were fortunate to be with her after she fell to give her some comfort and love in her time of need. We will definitely miss our dear Hilda and look forward to meeting her again on the other side. God speed our sweet friend Hilda...We will never forget you.

Hilda was a wonderful caring lady. She loved her church family and especially working with the Yarn Ministry ladies. Even at the age of 102 she had a quick mind and showed my sister, Anna Ammerman, some new knitting patterns while a guest at Wayne Woodlands. Several members of our Lakeville United Methodist Church stated when they were visiting people at Wayne Woodlands they had to track Hilda down, since she was out and about visiting other patients. She is missed by her church family, friends and although her earthly body is no longer with us, she will be remembered for her spunky spirit and wonderful acts of kindness. Now she is with her family, friends and probably showing them how to knit. God Bless you Hilda.

This was the last photo taken of me and gram. I will treasure it for the rest of my life.

Here is Hilda's family! Her husband, her three children and herself. It was sent to me by her niece Susan Lieberman-Beverly.
