Obituaries » Herbert R. Roman Share your Memorial with Family & Friends Herbert (Herb) Robert Roman, 85, of Honesdale, Pa, died April 20, 2023 at Regional Hospital Scranton Pa, following an illness. He is survived by his wife, Ruth Roman. Born on December 19, 1937 in Bronx, New York, he was the son of Samuel and Rose Windgrad Roman. Herb retired from N.Y. Mass Transit. After moving to Wayne County he worked as a van driver for the Area Agency on Aging. He enjoyed studying magic and sign language. His favorite TV shows were the Three Stooges and Bob Ross. His favorite author is Dean Koontz. He is survived by Paul Roman, Monticello N.Y.,Scott Roman and Suzette, Stroudsburg, Pa, and Alisa Widmaier and Greg, stepdaughter, Tracy Ward and Dale, Honesdale, Pa. Two grandsons, Justin and James Roman, two step-grandsons, Nicholas Widmaier and Jacob Ward and step granddaughter Seirra Shaffer. Private gathering for family to be determined.
