Helen (Peake) Bolton, 79, of Beach Lake, died on Thursday, September 1, 2016 at her home. She is survived by her husband of 15 years, JC Bolton.

Born on July 11, 1937 in Equinunk, PA, she was the daughter of the late Marcus and Gertrude Cole Peake. She was a seamstress at the former Katz Underwear Factory and the fomer owner of Mountainview in Lookout.

Also surviving is her daughter Pamela Brussell and husband Gerald of Damascus; her step-daughter Mitzi Tovar and husband Tim of Michigan; step-sons James Bolton and wife Peggy of Michigan, Jerry Bolton and wife Sue of Florida, and Mark Bolton of Michigan; brothers Marcus Peake Jr. and wife Patricia of Honesdale and Charley Peake and wife Joan of Lake Ariel; sisters Sandra Neer of Equinunk, Trudy Seipp of Honesdale, Hazel Rake and husband Floyd of Galilee, Patricia Rake and husband Clarence of Rileyville and Linda O’Donnell of New Jersey; 2 granddaughters and 2 step-granddaughters; 2 great grandchildren and 2 step-great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her son David Chapel and her brother Jeff Peake.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, September 8th at Hessling Funeral Home, Inc., 428 Main St. Honesdale at 3 pm. The family will receive friends 1 until time of service on Thursday. As per her request, cremation will follow with inurnment in Pine Mill Cemetery at a later date.
