I met Gus in 1970. We had many good times, especially the fishing trips. I wiil always remember his famous saying,"get the entire bar a round,and hurry before some one else comes in."Thanks for the memories, old friend! Rest in Peace.

What a guy! Gus’s was my favorite bartender of all time. I wasn’t there often but always a smile and a enthusiastic greening for me. We will all miss his joyful conversation and the Thursday Texas Weiners. Goodbye old friend. .
