Grace Mae Fullem, 88, of Honesdale, died on Friday, February 2, 2018 at her home. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald L. Fullem on October 9, 2016. The couple married on November 21, 1951.

Born on January 30, 1930 in Van Buren, NY, she was the daughter of the late Vern and Helen Sylvester Hudson. After graduating from high school, Grace continued her education in the field of nursing.

Grace and Ron moved to Honesdale in 1972 from Peru, IN after moving many times and supporting her husband in his military career and travels. She worked for B&B Dodge with her husband as night manager of the parts department.

Grace loved gardening especially her flowers and purple pansies. Her favorite breed of dog was her Yorkies.

Surviving are her sons Richard “Dick” Fullem of Cobbs Creek, VA and Ronald “Dean” Fullem and wife Susan of Honesdale; her daughters Deborah Fullem of Peru, IN and Darlene Carole Fullem and husband Richard Lanzoni Jr.; a sister-in-law Ruth Taffe of Baldwinsville, NY; a brother-in-law Glen Homer “Skip” Fullem of Uniontown, PA; grandchildren Christina Knotts, Grace Smith, Aleaha Brown, Megan Fullem and Chelsea Fullem; 6 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her brothers Floyd, Harold, Kent and Clifford Hudson and her sister Aggie Combs.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, February 8th at Hessling Funeral Home, Inc., 428 Main St. Honesdale at 10 am. Interment will be in Calkins Union Cemetery. Friends may visit on Wednesday, 5 to 7.

Memorial contributions can be made to the American Diabetes Association or the American Heart Association.
