Glenn Robert Lee, 90, of Honesdale and formerly of Hawley, died on Tuesday, March 23, 2021 at Ellen Memorial Health Care Center where he was residing. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Margaret “Mickey” Mosher on November 19, 1998 and his second wife Ann Martini on January 3, 2002.

Born on November 22, 1930 in Carbondale, he was the son and last surviving member of the late Raymond A. and Guila (Swackhammer) Lee family. He attended Carbondale schools and graduated from Ben Franklin High School. He was a US Air Force veteran serving during the Korean War.

For many years, Glenn worked at the Hawley Post Office before retiring in 1986. Following his retirement, he worked part-time at Church Street Hardware in Hawley.

Glenn was a 32nd degree Mason and a member of the Honesdale Lodge No. 218 Free and Accepted Masons of Pennsylvania. He was a member of the Hawley VFW. Glenn served in the Hawley Fire Police and was a life member of the Hawley Fire Department.

Surviving is his daughter Connie Wilson of Hawley; his granddaughter Casey Poppenwimer and husband Grant; great granddaughters Gwen Isla and Zoey Grace Poppenwimer; many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his brothers Donald and Leroy and sisters Frances Taylor, Jean Lee, and Hazel Brunning.

A private memorial service will be held at the convenience of his family. Arrangements by Hessling Funeral Home, Inc., 428 Main St. Honesdale.
