Obituaries » Gerda C. Meszler Share your Memorial with Family & Friends Gerda Gable Meszler, 82, of White Mills died peacefully at home on April 13th, 2021. Born Dec 21st, 1938 in Nurenburg Germany. She was the wife of the late Lawrence (Butch) F. Meszler Jr. She was retired from working at Seams in Hawley and Lukans Resort. She loved to cook and spend time with her family. She is survived by her sons Thomas R. Meszler and wife Peggy of Hawley, Michael Meszler and companion Margie Rickard of Honesdale, and Richard L. Meszler and girlfriend Barb Zawicki of White Mills, and daughters Christa Strackenbein and husband Jerry of Lake Ariel, and Debra Meszler of White Mills. She was preceded in death by her son Daniel and her grandson Dylan Meszler. Also surviving are grandchildren Samantha, Christopher, Branden Meszler, Kelly Hadden, Matthew Strackbein, and 7 great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held on April 23rd at 1:00 pm at the Queen of Peace Cemetery in Hawley, PA. All family and friends are welcomed and wear masks, please.
