Gail Marilyn Bradley, 65, of Honesdale, died on Sunday, January 23, 2022, at her home.

 

Born on April 28, 1956, in Englewood, NJ, she was the daughter of the late Cecil and Ruth (North) Bradley.  She was raised in Dumont and Tenafly, NJ, and was a graduate of Tenafly High School.

 

She worked for Yves Saint Laurent and Pan American Airways before moving to Honesdale. Gail worked for AAA Travel, TraveLearn, and later served as Executive Director of the Greater Honesdale Partnership for 13 years before retiring.

 

Gail enjoyed cooking for friends and family, gardening, and motorcycle trips.  She especially loved animals, and she cared for many over the years.

 

Surviving are her sisters, Juanita Bradley Galuska of Bethany and Cynthia Bradley Russell and husband Scotty of Grass Valley, CA; her brother Wayne Bradley and wife Ann-Marie of Atlanta, GA; her nephews, Brad Galuska and wife Francine of Muhlenberg Twp., PA, Andrew Bradley and wife Drew of Peoria, IL, Harrison Bradley of Atlanta, Jack Bradley and wife Morgane of Quebec City, Canada, and Charles Missman and wife Michelle of Grass Valley, CA; and great nephews, Lucas and Landon Missman, also of Grass Valley, CA.

 

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, Jan. 29th at the Bethany United Methodist Church at 11 am.  The family will receive friends on Saturday in church, beginning at 10 amuntil the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Dessin Animal Shelter, Honesdale, in honor of Gail’s love for all God’s creatures. Interment will be in the spring in Bethany Cemetery.  Arrangements by Hessling Funeral Home, Inc., 428 Main St. Honesdale.
