Stoeckle, 81, of Tyler Hill, passed away on Saturday, September 7, 2024 at his home with his family by his side. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, the former Patricia Lindgren. The couple married on May 24, 1969. Born on December 1, 1942 in Irvington, NJ, he was the son of the late Frank J. Stoeckle Sr. and Gladys (Hoffman) Stoeckle. He was a graduate of Fork Union Military Academy in Virginia Frank was a US Coast Guard veteran. While living in NJ he worked as a splicer for New Jersey Bell telephone which later became Verizon. He retired in 1996 and he and his wife then settled in Tyler Hill, Frank enjoyed camping with his family and spending time outdoors. He would also build model ships. He and Pat enjoyed taking care of their horses and other animals. He cared for others and was always happy to help his neighbors when they were in need. Surviving are his children, Lisa Stoeckle of Honesdale and Kevin Stoeckle and wife Diane of Cotopaxi, CO; his mother-in-law, Muriel Lindgren of Bethany; his sister-in-law, Kathleen Murphy and husband William of Galilee. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, Sept. 12th at Hessling Murray Funeral Home, 428 Main St. Honesdale at noon. Friends may visit on Thursday, 10 until the time of service. Interment with military honors will follow in Hillcrest Cemetery, Galilee.
