Obituaries » Frank George Schwesinger Funeral Home Hessling Funeral Home Share your Memorial with Family & Friends Frank George Schwesinger passed away suddenly on November 29, 2022 at his home in Beach Lake. A lifelong resident of Wayne County, Frank served as Manager of the Hawley Area Authority for twenty years before his retirement in 2019. He was a skilled gardener, avid reader, and dog lover. He is survived by his children, Dylan Schwesinger of Kutztown, PA, Desiree Schwesinger of Beaverton, OR, Dane Schwesinger of Tyler Hill, PA, and Drue Schwesinger of Hawley, PA; his grandchildren Ayden Schwesinger, Spencer Smith, Zoe Schwesinger, Raven Hennig, Kharma Hennig, and Sofia Proctor; his former wife Greta Schwesinger; and his longtime girlfriend, Sheila Van Orden. He was predeceased by his parents, Marcellus and Sarah Schwesinger, and his brother, Raymond Schwesinger. The family will hold a private memorial at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family invites friends to make a donation to Dessins Animal Shelter.
