Obituaries » Elisa Rodriguez (Matos) Share your Memorial with Family & Friends Elisa Rogriguez, wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and homemaker, died peacefully surrounded by her family on May 3, 2026 at the age of 83. Elisa is survived and leaves to cherish her memory by her daughters Lourdes Salvador and Yolanda Rivero and her grandchildren Victor R. Rivero, Maria E. Rylka, Jose R. Oliveras, II, Luis A. Rivero, Lillian N. Oliveras, Jesus M Rivero, Melony E. Enslin, Miguel A. Salvador, , and 20 great-grandchildren; together with her surviving siblings. Elisa was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She loved cooking and was the family chef for every gathering. You could always find Elisa in the kitchen cooking or filling up a huge plate of food for loved ones to enjoy. Her sazon will be greatly missed. Elisa will be deeply missed by family and friends, and all who knew her. A viewing will be held at Hessling Murray Funeral Home located at 428 Main Street, Honesdale, PA on Thursday, May 7, 2026, between 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, May 8, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Mary Magdalen Church located at 416 Church Street, Honesdale, PA. Interment will be immediately after the funeral services at Calkins Baptist Church, 527 Calkins Road, Milanville, PA 18443.
