Obituaries » Edward Nocera Share your Memorial with Family & Friends Edward Nocera, 70, of Milanville, PA and formerly of Belleville, N.J. died in Wilkes-Barre, Pa., on October 13, 2024. The family will receive friends at the Hessling Murray Funeral Home, 428 Main Street, Honesdale, PA, on Thursday, October 17 from 9:30 am to 10:30 am. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11:00 am at St. Mary Magdalen Roman Catholic Church, 416 Church Street, Honesdale. Interment will be at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Hanover, New Jersey on Friday, October 18 at 12:30. He was preceded in death by his parents, Anthony E. and Gloria (nee Siciliano) Nocera. Mr. Nocera was born in Belleville, N.J., on February 28, 1954. His long career as craftsman and artist defined him as a Renaissance man, proficent in various media. He was co-owner of Nocera Art Tile Studio in Milanville, which was recognized in the field of ceramic sculpture by international clients. Ed is survived by his beloved wife of 43 years, Anne (nee Smeraldo); stepchildren Marieanne Hunt (Charles), Vincent D’Antonio (Kathryn), and Marc D’Antonio (Jennifer); step-grandchildren Carolanne, Kevin, Vincent Jr. (Gabrielle), Roseanne, Emily, and Gianna, all of whom loved their ‘Grampa Eddie’ very much; brother Anthony (Theresa), niece Erica; and numerous cousins, friends, and family.Check your settings when you are happy with your print preview press the print icon below.
