Dorothy Teeple

Dorothy U. “Dot” Teeple, 61, of Honesdale, died on Sunday, January 19, 2014 at Commonwealth Hospice of NEPA in Scranton. Born on January 28, 1952 in Equinunk, she was the daughter of the late Elmer and Pauline Lester Heberling. She was a graduate of Hancock High School, class of 1969. After graduating from Keystone Junior College with an associates degree in liberal arts, she became a pharmacy technician. Dot loved sports. She especially loved golf, playing scrabble and was an avid Chicago Cubs fan. She is survived by her twin sister Deborah Katz and husband Robert of Honesdale; her sister Sandra Frederici of Maine, NY; her four nieces Jeralyn Hancock, Julie Katz, Fawn LaTournous and Alison Buozis; a nephew Berton Miller; four great nieces Brittany Hancock, Lillian LaTournous, Eliza Buozis and Amelia LaTournous and a great nephew Joseph LaTournous.
