Diana Marie (McConnell) Utegg, 49, of Honesdale, died unexpectedly on Sunday, December 11, 2016 at her home.

Born on September 10, 1967 in Honesdale, she is the daughter of William P. McConnell of Lake Ariel and Patricia Nober of Florida. She was a graduate of Western Wayne High School.

Before taking ill, Diana owned and operated Elite Home Mortgage in Hawley. She was currently employed at Honesdale PennDOT Drivers License Center where she was a drivers license technician.

She enjoyed fishing and was a member of the Cherry Ridge Fishing Club. Diana also loved flowers and decorating with her daughters.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by her daughters Caitlyn Dill, Arielle Dill and Heather Utegg all of Honesdale; her sister Susan Clark of Pittston; her granddaughter Jenna Lynn Fink; nieces and nephews Derek Lukens, Luann Lukens and Erica; a great niece Olivia Lukens.

Friends may visit Hessling Funeral Home, Inc., 428 Main St. Honesdale on Monday, December 19th, 4 to 6. Funeral services will be held at 6pm. As per her request, cremation will follow.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Diane Utegg Memorial Fund, c/o The Dime Bank, PO Box 509, 820 Church St. Honesdale, PA 18431.
