Clancy (Sillis) Funeral Home Hessling Funeral Home Share your Memorial with Family & Friends Dawn Marie (Sillis) Clancy, 47, of Browndale, went to heaven on November 14, 2016 at Inova Fairfax Hospital in Virginia due to injuries sustained in an accident. Born on November 22, 1968 in Suffern, NY, she is the daughter of Kay Meckel Sillis of Honesdale and the late Charles F. Sillis. Dawn previously lived in Greenwood, NY and moved to Pleasant Mount, PA in 2002. In 2010 she moved to Browndale. For the past 14 years, Dawn was employed at Fox Ledge Water Co. and for the past 6 years has been employed at The Wayne Independent. Dawn loved her family and her pets. Also surviving are her loving sons, Nicholas Clancy of Browndale and Ryan Clancy and wife Jenn of Tryon, NC; 3 grandchildren Grayson Clancy, 6, Meya Clancy, 4 and Baylee Rutledge, 5 months. Her companion of 17 years, Fernando Rivera and his sons Nicky and Tony; several aunts, uncles and cousins. She was preceded in death by Charles J. in 1981 and her father Charles F. in 2004. A celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, November 26th at Hessling Funeral Home, Inc., 428 Main St. Honesdale, 10 to 12.
