Born on September 15, 1973 in Honesdale, he was the son of the late Parry and Marlene (Johnson) Lent.

David was an amazing person. He loved spending time with his children who he loved dearly. He also enjoyed hunting, fishing, riding his four-wheeler with his kids and spending time with his nephews Dominick, Brian and Troy. Also spending time with his baby brother Brian, and really busting his chops.

He is survived by his wife of 15 years, Jennifer Duley; his six children, Tyler, 16, Cameron, 14, Adrianna, 12, Elizabeth, 11, Logan, 9, and Shannon, 7, all of Honesdale. Also surviving are his brothers, Christopher and wife Paula of Honesdale, Robert and wife Sarah of Carbondale, Jerry and wife Jennifer of Bethany, Mike and wife Tara of Honesdale, Joe and wife Sue of Idaho and Brian and wife Renee of Jermyn. His sisters Debbie and husband Jim of Beach Lake, Kathy and husband Mike of Vandling, Kim and husband Brian of Jermyn, Ellen and husband John of Alabama and Sue and husband Frank of Beach Lake; several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister Donna; his brothers Jon and Kevin and his grandmother Mary Murray.

He will be truly missed by everyone who loved him and everyone who got to meet him. He always had a way to make all of us laugh and smile. We will all miss him and he will never be forgotten.
