Daniel James Petroski, 57, of Honesdale, died on Friday, March 5, 2021 at Parkhouse Nursing and Rehab Center in Royersford, PA where he was residing.

Born on July 17, 1963 in Honesdale, he is the son of Nora Klinkiewicz Petroski and the late Stanley Petroski Sr.. He was a proud US Navy veteran.

Dan was an avid gardener and outdoorsman. He loved planting, sharing and showing-off his
beautiful flowers and gardens.
His Boone and Crockett record bear was his pride and joy, along with his many hunting and
fishing adventures with his Dad and brothers. He had a passion for bow hunting and spent
many hours in a tree stand.
He shared many stories of his time in the Navy and so enjoyed the opportunity to travel the
world.
Dan had a special place in his heart for his parents and loved being Mom’s “handyman”.
He will be missed dearly by all of his brothers and sisters and as a loving uncle to his nephews
and nieces.
He is survived by his mother, Nora Petroski, brothers Charlie and wife Jimann, David, Thomas
and wife Lynnita, Timothy; sisters Valerie Reese and husband Robert, Karen and Anne Pavone.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Stanley Jr and Andrew.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday at St. Mary Magdalen Church in Honesdale at 10 am. Interment with military honors will be in the spring in St. Mary’s Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, a collection is being made for Camp Freedom in Dan’s honor to ℅ Thomas Petroski, 27 Beechwood Terrace, Hawley, PA. 18428.
