Constance M. (Carroll) Wash, 82, of Honesdale, died peacefully on Sunday, April 18 at Manatawney Manor in Pottstown, Pennsylvania.

Born August 3, 1938 in Honesdale Pennsylvania, she was the wife of the late Walter E. Wash.

Connie was a long-time employee at Wayne County Memorial Hospital where she was a switchboard operator.  She enjoyed her job as well greeting the many people who passed through the entrance doors!  She enjoyed Arizona, word searches and loved to listen to any type of music, especially the Beatles.

She is survived by her daughters Karen Taylor, wife of Courtney, and Kelly O’Donnell, wife of Thomas; and son Steven and his wife Leann.  Also surviving are grandchildren Cody, Jack, Charlie, Cooper, Emily, Haley and Hugh.  She is predeceased by two brothers, Tom and Dan and a sister, Marjorie.

A private family viewing will be held Thursday, April 22 at 6:00 P.M to 7:00 P.M. at Hessling Funeral Home, 428 Main Street, Honesdale, PA  18431.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday April 23 at 10:00 A.M. at St. Mary’s Church, 242 Carbondale Road, Waymart, PA 18472.  All family and friends are welcomed and wear masks, please.  Arrangements by Hessling Funeral Home, Inc., 428 Main St., Honesdale.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Constance Wash to Stowers Institute who researches Alzheimer’s disease among many others:  Stowers Institute for Medical Research – Stowers (networkforgood.com).
