Obituaries » Catherine F. Alfredson (Krieger) Share your Memorial with Family & Friends Catherine F. Alfredson, 86, of Honesdale and formerly of Florida, died on Friday, November 8, 2024 at Ellen Memorial Health Care Center where she has been residing. Born on November 5, 1938 in Brooklyn, NY, she was the daughter of the late John and Frances Krieger. She worked for many years at Stoney Brook Hospital in medical records. Surviving are her children, Henry Alfredson and wife Catherine of Hawley, Cathy Hewitt of Gainesville, FL and Mark Alfredson and wife Patty of Damascus; her brothers, John and Eddie Krieger; her sister, Mary Pagen; 7 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, Nov. 15th at St. Mary Magdalen Church, Honesdale at 10 am. Interment will follow in Indian Orchard Cemetery.
