Obituaries » Carol J. Flynn (Fitzsimmons) Share your Memorial with Family & Friends Carol J. Flynn, 70, of Honesdale, died on February 8, 2018 at home following a long-term illness. She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Patrick Flynn. Born on May 6, 1947 in Carbondale, she was the daughter of the late Francis and Alice Walsh Fitzsimmons. Carol was raised by her late sister and her husband Rosemary and Edward Novak. She was a graduate of Forest City Regional High School, class of 1965. Also surviving is her son Sean Flynn and wife Jenny of Tucson, AZ and their children Brian, Colin, Jason and Kevin; her brother James Fitzsimmons of Forest City; her sister Rosemary Lubaszewski of Forest City; sisters-in-law Annette Novak, Beverly, Dorothy and Ruth Fitzsimmons; a brother-in-law George Kulick; nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brothers Edward Novak, Joseph, Thomas, Robert and Edward Fitzsimmons and her sisters Alice Kulick and Ann Turner. As per her request, cremation was held, and a memorial service will be held in the spring. Arrangements by Hessling Funeral Home, Inc., 428 Main St. Honesdale, PA.
