Obituaries » Carl R. Hoffman Share your Memorial with Family & Friends Carl R. Hoffman, 78, of Honesdale, formerly of Baldwin L.I. New York, passed away on December 15, 2016. Survived by loving siblings James Hoffman, Julie Satre, Diane Anker, Douglas Hoffman and Agnes Thomas. He was predeceased by brothers Arthur, Richard, and Jack and sister Joan Bedell. Also survived by 23 nephews and nieces and many great nieces and nephews. He regularly attended services at Central United Methodist Church and was a member of their XYZ group. Carl also worked at the local food pantry and visited shut ins at the local nursing homes. As per his request, cremation will be held and there will be no public visitation. The family will have a celebration of life memorial in May of 2017.
