Fletcher, 87, of Tyler Hill and formerly of Coldenham, NY, died on Tuesday, August 18, 2015 at home. Born on September 29, 1927 in Newburgh, NY, she was the daughter of the late Jonathan J. and Bessie B. Score Fletcher. She was a graduate of Walden High School. Before retiring, Bessie was a secretary at Hartford Insurance in Newburgh. She was the former secretary at Little Britain Grange in New York. Bessie was a faithful member of the Damascus Manor United Methodist Church in Damascus, PA. Surviving are her nieces and nephews, Lois Bartholomew and husband David of Wallkill, NY, Warren Hall and wife Debra of Tyler Hill, Mark Best-Hall and wife Carolyn of Wallkill, NY and Debra Hall of Cochecton, NY; several great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her sister Doris E. Hall. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, August 25th at Damascus Manor United Methodist Church at 11am. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, 10 to service time in church. Interment will be in Wallkill Valley Cemetery, Walden, NY.
