Arlene M. Williams (Kolinger)

Arlene M. Williams, 86, of Honesdale, died on Saturday, October 13, 2018 at Ellen Memorial Health Care Center in Honesdale. She was preceded in death by her husband, Irvin W. Williams Sr. on September 8, 1994.

Born at the family home in Falls Township, PA on October 26, 1931, she was the daughter of the late Anthony and Julia Bosak Kolinger.

Arlene worked for many years at A.M. Skier Insurance. A talented cook, Arlene also catered many parties, weddings and anniversaries. She enjoyed quietly helping others without looking for recognition even in her final days.

Surviving is her son Irvin W. Williams Jr. and his wife Cindy of Honesdale; grandchildren Kimberly Cavage and husband Paul, Kelly Birmelin and husband Michael and Eric Williams and wife Amy; great grandchildren Faith, Ryan and Catherine Cavage, Morgan and Grady Birmelin, and Benjamin and Emilia Williams; her niece and Goddaughter Marlene Kolinger Freehill and husband The Honorable Robert Freehill; several other nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her brothers Joseph, John and Victor Kolinger and her sister Florence Kolinger.

As per her request, funeral services will be private at the convenience of her family. Arrangements by Hessling Funeral Home, Inc., 428 Main St. Honesdale.
