Anna Katherine DeBlanco, RN, 88, of Clinton Township, died on Thursday, October 30, 2014 at Ellen Memorial Health Care Center. She was preceded in death by her husband John DeBlanco on October 29, 2005. The couple married on February 4, 1950. Born on August 27, 1926 in Passaic, NJ, she was the daughter of the late William and Anna Hergenrother Stock. She was a registered nurse at Riverside Hospital in Boonton, NJ and later retired from St. Clair’s Hospital in Denville, NJ. She and her husband retired to Wayne County where she worked with Allied Services. She was a member of the former St. Cecelia’s Catholic Church at Hilltop. She was active in the community participating in the Ugly Quilts Club, the Little Sewing Group in Lakewood and the Pierogi Group at St. James Church. Surviving are her daughters Laura Geib and husband Thomas of Hilton Head, SC and Ellen Caleca and husband Anthony of West Milford, NJ; her brother James Stock and wife Pat of Boonton, NJ; grandsons Michael Geib and Matthew Caleca; nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brothers Aloyious , William, and Robert Stock and sisters Rita Rhodes, Helen Stock and Alice Humenuck. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, November 8th at St. James Church, Pleasant Mount at 10:30am. As per her request, cremation will follow with interment in St. Ceceila’s Cemetery, Hilltop. Friends may visit Hessling Funeral Home, Inc., 428 Main St. Honesdale on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9.
