Ann Barbara Seminara, 81, of Equinunk and formerly of Queens, NY, died on May 1, 2014 at Wayne Memorial Hospital. She was preceded in death by her husband Mario F. Seminara on February 15, 2007. The couple married on September 20, 1974. She was born on April 30, 1933 in Manhattan, NY, she was the daughter of the late Stephen and Sadie Lefkowitz Becker. She was a graduate of the High School of Fine Arts in Manhattan, a member of the Rainbow Organization, and attended New York University. She began working as a Doctor’s Assistant, and became a Dental Assistant in Massapequa, NY, later retiring from Verizon where she was an Operator Supervisor. Following her retirement, she and her husband moved to Equinunk where they built their home. They owned two race horses and enjoyed going to the track to watch the races. An avid artist, Ann enjoyed painting, reading, nature watching, and cooking. She and Mario proudly shared the first prize in a cooking contest that featured one of her original recipe ideas. Ann will always be remembered as a kind hearted, generous person, who always had beautiful, welcoming smile, faithful disposition, and a great sense of humor. Surviving is her sister Rose Smith and husband Ronald of Florida, NY; a nephew Stephen Fehr, nieces; Victoria Woodby, Kathleen Fehr, Dolores Fehr Lopez, and Lani Fehr; 3 great nephews and a great niece: and loving cousins. She was preceded in death by her sister Julia Ruth Fehr. Her family would like to thank all her friends and caregivers especially, Bob, Kathy, Joe, Terrie, Gail, Eleanor, John and Steve.
