Ann Shirley Warren Kinsman, 89, of Honesdale passed away Tuesday, January 12, 2021, peacefully at home, with her children by her side. Her husband, Robert, preceded her in death on October 27, 2010.

 

They were married at their Hoadley’s property on July 5, 1953.

 

Born August 14, 1931, she was the daughter of the late Otsego and Florence Sheard Warren. She was preceded in death by her brother Wallace Warren and sisters, Elizabeth Warren Iloff and Janet Warren Loring.

 

Ann was a graduate of Honesdale High School, class of 1950.

 

Ann was well known for her homemaking and cooking skills as she nourished her family and friends for holidays, picnics, and numerous celebrations where everyone gathered at the Kinsman home.

 

She was a mainstay of George W. Kinsman Inc. for many years and worked up until the COVID pandemic  in  March of 2020.

 

Ann was a member of the Presbyterian Church of Honesdale.

 

Surviving are her children: George W. Kinsman and wife Nancy of Cherry Ridge, Barbara VanOrden and husband Steve of Calkins, Sandra Sekulski and husband Paul of Douglasville, PA, and William Kinsman and wife Denise of Cherry Ridge.

 

Also surviving are beloved grandchildren: Malena Kinsman Motsko, Bobby Kinsman, Casey Kinsman, Amanda Sobolak Rowe, Katie Sobolak Kingston, Carrie Sobolak Drake, Kristi Sekulski Harrison, Daniel Sekulski,  Serena and Tanner Kinsman.

 

Ann is also survived by eleven great-grandchildren: George W. Motsko, Atticus and Juniper Rowe, Cotton, Harkin, and Tansy Kingston, Oliver and Laurel Drake, Caroline Harrison, Reece and Austen Sekulski.

 

Ann’s sister in law, Joan Kinsman Collins and husband Paul, also survive her as well as many nieces and nephews.

 

A private service for immediate family will be held due to COVID-19 guidelines.  Arrangements made by Hessling Funeral Home.

 

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Hose Co. #1 P. O. Box 174 Honesdale, PA 18431.
