Amie J. Oprisko-Bose lost her long battle with cancer on Wednesday, August 5, 2015.

Amie was born February 8, 1968 in Honesdale, PA to Michael and
Jean Oprisko. She married Kevin W. Bose Sr. June 11, 1994. She graduated
Honesdale High School class of ’86. She lived in Honesdale her whole
life.

She loved to have great get togethers with friends and family and have fun.
She loved reading books and listening to music. Amie spent many hours
planting in her flower beds and doing arts and crafts with close friends
and her grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband of 21 years Kevin W. Bose Sr.;
two step-sons Kevin and his wife Rose of Abilene, Texas and
Shawn and his wife Natalie of Big Spring, Texas; her seven grandchildren
Abigail, Madison, Elizabeth, Allyson, Mayson, Nicolas, and Iolana; her
mother Jean Oprisko, sister Sue and husband John Menotti, and brother
Mike Oprisko; one niece Christina Menotti and one nephew Dominic Menotti.

She is preceded in death by her father Michael (Mike) J. Oprisko
and granddaughter Angela Bose-Phillips.

The Bose family would love to thank Amie’s closest friends and family for coming
and helping to take care of her in her time of need. She loved life and all her
friends and family so much, she will be missed every day.

Memorial services will be held on Friday, August 14th at Hessling Funeral Home, Inc., 428 Main St. Honesdale at 11am. The family will receive friends on Thursday, 4 to 7 at the funeral home. Interment will be private at the families convenience.
