Obituaries » Aida Petersen Share your Memorial with Family & Friends Aida Petersen, 81, of Damascus, PA and formerly of Lodi and Clifton, NJ, died on Thursday, May 20, 2021 at her home. She is survived by her husband of 31 years, Carl Petersen. The couple married on January 8, 1990. Born on November 25, 1939 in Guayanilla, Puerto Rico, she was the daughter of the late Jose and Ada (Albino) Camacho. While living in New Jersey, she worked for several companies as a tool maker. Following their retirement, she and Carl moved to Damascus. In Damascus, she enjoyed gardening and visiting with friends at the Wayne County Seniors Center. Also surviving is her daughter Helene Negron and her daughter of Paterson, NJ; her brother Eddie Camacho of New City, NY; several cousins. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at St. Joseph’s Church in Rileyville, PA at a later date.
