Ristaino, 87, of Honesdale, died on Saturday, September 23, 2017 at Wayne Woodlands Manor in Waymart. She was preceded in death by her husband, Carmine J. Ristaino on September 8, 2005. Born on June 22, 1930 in Lehighton, PA, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Marion Geiger Engleman. A loving wife and mother, Jean also worked as a waitress. She was a member of St. John the Evangelist Parish in Honesdale. Surviving are her sons Ronald J. Ristaino and wife Patricia and Gary Ristaino and wife Gina all of Hopewell Junction, NY; daughters Diane Russo and husband Charles of Thornwood, NY and Karen Ristaino of Lake Ariel; her step-brothers John and Anthony Alfero; 9 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, September 27, 2017 at St. Mary Magdalen Church in Honesdale at 10 am. Interment will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
